Daniel Yomtobian, co-founder of ABCSearch

Daniel Yomtobian was born in 1977 to immigrant parents, the second of two children — his father a businessman, his mother a social worker in California. His earlier years were modest and humble. As a teenager Daniel kept busy with karate and football, and worked odd jobs for extra cash.

He got his first PC after graduating high school. His introduction to the World Wide Web began with an HTML course on creating and designing websites — but most of Daniel’s knowledge came from discipline, spending hours each day and night analyzing and compartmentalizing the Internet and all its capacities. He chose to focus on being a domain aggregator, buying and selling dictionary-based domain names.

He went on to co-found the online media and advertising company WayInternet, then co-founded the search engine Findology, later selling his share — a string of successes with continued involvement in a multitude of startups.

ABCSearch

In 2001, Daniel launched ABCSearch.com, and its growth continues as he builds companies and services that add value to businesses and consumers alike. Through philanthropic endeavors he hopes to help the less fortunate, staying inspired to give back to the community.

Pit note: ABCSearch was featured on the back cover of the Fall 2005 issue of Revenue magazine — one of the world’s top mediums for cost-per-click advertising, at over 2.5 billion searches per month and climbing.

Today, Daniel Yomtobian is a name to be reckoned with in online advertising — a prominent business presence in the IT segment and a sought-after expert whose views on the industry are continuously being heard.
